DESCRIPTION

The itinerary of the Central Atolls is ideal if you are visiting the Maldives for the first time.

It is the most complete because in it all the diversities that can be found in this archipelago come together, from the great pelagic domination up to the most varied species that are concentrated in the barriers.

In the Maldives there are two monsoons, the dry one, from November to April, and the wet one, from May to October.

In the itinerary of the CENTRAL ATOLS at any time, regardless of the monsoon, the sight of the whale shark and mantas is almost assured.

During the seven days of the cruise the dives are carried out at the main points of underwater activity that this itinerary offers.

The Thila are large mountains submerged in the sea that are found from six meters deep and up to thirty or forty.

Tours have the same type of training but are closer to the surface, reaching up to only three meters.

The Kandu another type of dive that we do during the week on the central atoll itinerary.

For many it is the most beautiful dive of the cruise. It takes place in the space between two islands, commonly called KANDU O PASS, where the ocean currents pass into the atoll, allowing the passage of large pelagics. Here you can watch the close-up view of gray sharks, white tip sharks, tuna, carangides and eagle rays.
