The fauna and flora of Madagascar are of an incomparable wealth!
It is considered as a sanctuary of nature and the cradle of endemic species of the island.
Called the perfume island because of its smells of ylang ylang, sugar cane and spices, Nosy Be is the main island of an archipelago of a dozen small islands.
Located in the Monzambico canal, close to the north-west coast of Madagascar, it is about 320 km², it contains a dense forest dotted with volcanic lakes, exceptional fauna and flora.
You can practice many activities and also take advantage of the paradisiacal beaches along the coasts.
The archipelago has many islands which are very easy to visit. The most important are Nosy Komba, Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Sakatia and Nosy Iranja.
The beautiful reef of Nosy be give intense emotions and encounters with large turtles, stingrays, manta rays, shoals of barracudas, jackfish, giant sea fans, whales, whale sharks and dolphins.
Diving is possible out all year round with different characteristics according to the months.
From August to October humpback whales are the queens of this sea, with their evolutions and their songs make the outings at sea an unforgettable experience.
From November to January the presence of plankton and the warmer water make a small community of whale sharks approach the coasts of Nosy Be.
